Room confortable, very good service. Good self for breakfast (but mainly indonesien style). Situation at short walking distance from railway station (no need of taxi with a backpack) and close to maliboro, in a street full of warung. Very convenient. Possible to book tour with the hostel convenient if your are short of time.

It`s a fantastic hotel. The location is very good, close to Malioboro Street, shopping, dining and all important attractions. The entire staff is fantastic, exceptionally kind and helpful in everything. Special thanks to Zulaikhah. The breakfast is fantastic, with a wide selection, as soon as it starts to run out, it is refilled immediately. The hotel's kitchen is very good, with 24-hour room service, it's worth having dinner here. The bed is very comfortable. The wifi worked well throughout the hotel . The rooftop pool area is very pleasant. The hotel is very child-friendly, especially recommended for small children.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! It’s located just around the corner from Malioboro Street, super convenient for exploring Yogyakarta. When we booked through Booking.com, the Adventure Room wasn’t listed as an option, but to our surprise, we were offered a upgrade to it at check-in. What a great surprise! The room was perfect for families: it had a slide, a cozy play corner, and separate kids’ beds, while the parents had a large, very comfortable bed. This hotel is clearly designed with children in mind , kids can borrow scooters to ride around the hotel, which ours loved! Upstairs there’s a pool and more play areas to keep them entertained. Highly recommended for families with young children , we’d definitely come back!

Firstly, I recommend Hotel FORTUNAGRANDE. It is a comfortable and welcoming place. From the moment you checked in and then checked out, my family and I were treated with respect, and we felt like valued customers. The hotel has an amazing breakfast on offer every day, and the rooftop pool is a place where families and couples can feel relaxed and enjoy themselves. The rooms are small, only so comfortable and clean. the shower has hot water! And the air-conditioning works well. It is a short walk from the hotel to Mailboro mall and the amazing night-life. It's not a big hotel, only I think it competes well with the big chains out there. The big question is, would I stay there again with my family? Easy answer! YES! Thank you, Hotel fortuna Grande, for helping me and my family to have a pleasurable stay in Yogyakarta.

The hotel is very nice. It is new and the room are clean and big enough. The staff of the hotel are very kind and they are welcome to help you in any situation. The breakfast of the hotel is amazing, you have almost everything you can desire. The location of the hotel is perfect, just few meter from the main street.

The staff. They were friendly, professional and polite and helped solve your problems or requests. The breakfast was very good, Everything functioned well. The room cleaning was done well, every day if you wished. The hotel’s facilities are especially good for young families, this was noticeable because I was there during school holidays.

They upgraded our room so the new room was spacious and had window. Shower was good, lukewarm at times. Location is really good, very clean hotel. Staff very friendly

The staff, particularly Elda at reception who had handled very efficiently my added days to my original booking online and then reorganized rooms to allow me an seamless upgrade after I arrived. This was all organized without me having to carry my luggage anywhere. She is the most efficient and charming hotel receptionist I have ever encountered after many trips.

Grate location and breakfast! The room was decent sized, with street view, AC, TV, large vault,decent sized bathroom. I got daily water and juices, plus a welcome fruit plate. The location is 2mins away from the heart of Malioboro, in a secure area (as a solo traveler, at worst I just got annoyed by the taxi drivers trying to offer riders). Plenty of shops (minimarkets/food/clothing) and ATM in the very close proximity, plus there are 2 malls 5mins away. Take the breakfast option, it is amazing, and rich in local food cooked perfectly, your belly will be full for the entire day.
